NBI 35965 is a selective corticotropin-releasing factor receptor 1 (CRF1) antagonist without activity against CRF2. It inhibited the stimulation of cAMP induced by sauvagine in CRF1 transfected cells and reduced stress-induced visceral hyperalgesia.
