Details
β-acetyl-Boswellic acid is a non-reducing inhibitor of 5-lipoxygenase (5-LO) with antitumor effect. It was shown to inhibit DNA, RNA and protein synthesis in human leukemia HL-60 cells in a dose dependent manner with IC50 values ranging from 0.6 to 7.1 mM.
