MS37452 is a competitive inhibitor of CBX7 chromodomain (CBX7ChD) binding to H3K27me3 (Ki = 43 μM). It inhibits CBX7ChD binding to H3K27me3 at the INK4A/ARF locus, inducing transcriptional de-repression of p16/CDKN2A in PC3 prostate cancer cells.
