Details
SW155246 is an inhibitor of DNA methyltransferase 1 (DNMT1) with IC50 value of 1.2 μM, displaying 30-fold selectivity for inhibition of human DNMT1 versus human or murine DNMT3A or -3B. It was shown to inhibit global methylation in HeLa cells, and reactivate expression of the tumor suppressor gene RASSF1A in A549 cells.
