A-75943 is is a bone resorption inhibitor produced by Streptomyces sp. SANK61296. In vitro tests, it has the effect of inhibiting bone resorption with IC50 of 0.35 μmol/L. It also inhibits the bone resorption in rats with thyroid and parathyroidectomy.
