JPH203 is a potent and selective inhibitor of L-type amino acid transporter 1 (LAT1), which is highly expressed in many tumor cells. Study has shown that JPH203 inhibited L-leucine uptake, and increased apoptosis rates and formed DNA ladder in Saos2 cells.
