CEP 1347, also named KT 7515 or CHEMBL290352, an ethylthiomethyl derivative, is a potent, selective inhibitor of the cJun-amino terminal kinase pathway currently under clinical evaluation for the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases. It blocks Aβ-induced cortical neuron apoptosis (EC50 ~51 nM).
