Details
C-type natriuretic peptide is an endogenous peptide found in plasma and cerebrospinal fluid. It is composed of 22 amino acids. C-type natriuretic peptide acts as an agonist of natriuretic peptide receptor NPR2 (NPRB) and exhibits affinity for NPR3 (NPRC). It inhibits L-type calcium currents in myocytes and exhibits antiproliferative effects in cardiac fibroblasts in vitro.
