ESI-05 is an Epac2 inhibitor that inhibits cAMP binding to EPAC2 and cAMP mediated EPAC2 guanine nucleotide exchange factor (GEF) activity (IC50 = 0.4 μM). It is selective for Epac2 over Epac1 and PKA at 25 μM.
