Cephalochromin is a calmodulin-sensitive phosphodiesterase (PDE) inhibitor isolated from the culture broth of an unidentified fungal isolate, SCF-125. It inhibited calmodulin-sensitive PDE activities with IC50 values of 40-47 nM.
