Details
Acolbifene hydrochloride, an active metabolite of EM800, is an orally active selective estrogen receptor modulator (SERM) with anticarcinogenic properties. It has a potent and pure antiestrogenic effect on mammary gland and uterus, and inhibits estradiol (E2)-induced transcriptional activity of ERα and ERβ with IC50s of 2 and 0.4 nM, respectively.
